The Steve Wittkowski Golf Classic held on September 6, 2024, at Schaumburg Golf Club was a
standout event in Broccoli Country Club’s calendar. Honoring the legacy of Steve Wittkowski, a beloved golf enthusiast and friend of many. Friends an families gathered to participate in what was an absolutely stellar event from start to finish.
Broccoli Country Club came as sponsor for the tournament and provided some prizes for on course achievements, as well as for a putting contest before the tournament began. Broccoli Country Club also donated a prize for the raffle that raised money for a local dog rescue program, something Steven was all about.
Not only was the Broccoli Country Club team there to support and raise money, they also came to advocate for the healing power of cannabis. This tournament brought together friends, family, and the wider community for a day of remembrance, competition, and celebration.
Schaumburg Golf Club’s lush greens and welcoming atmosphere set the perfect stage for this heartfelt gathering. Attendees shared stories, creating a sense of connection and unity that carried throughout the tournament. The competition was fierce yet friendly, with a range of skill-based challenges designed to engage golfers of all levels.
The evening culminated with a few moving speeches, awards, dinner, an auction, and finally the 25 raffle basket winners were read off by Nick Addison (Barstool Sports).
